    • Millennial Pink for the bride

Posted at 4:30 pm by EmmyAngela, on January 20, 2019

It’s been said that the color pink is the most sentimental and sensitive of all colors, therefore, if we talk about feelings it represents love, affection, tenderness and sensitivity.

Pink never symbolizes anything negative contrary to most colors that do. It represents positive feelings, those bringing happiness and well-being.

The color pink or nowadays referred to as light blush is a relaxed color which influences the feelings making them kind, soft and deep.

It makes us feel affection, love, and protection.  It is the color of candor and innocence, of charm and courtesy.

Pink is associated with altruistic and true love, while red reflects passion.

Because the color pink evokes romance and femininity are used widely by brides.

Have you noticed that pink things are optimistic by nature?  “Wearing rose-colored glasses”, “in the pink”, “tickled pink”, “rosy cheeks“…

There’s something magical about a pink wedding and it’s that the elements of this color are very easy to achieve. Almost any flower you can dream of will be available in pink.

If you like roses, tulips, lilies, dragon mouths, hydrangeas, or daisies, you will be able to find your favorite flower in a beautiful pink tone. This makes it very easy you to design the dream floral combination in your pink wedding!

Buying an engagement ring can be a real challenge. Some opt for a traditional ring, set with one or more colorless diamonds, with this decision, you’re clearly playing it safe.

There are other options though, the more innovative ones. Colored diamonds have been trending lately and there has been a growing demand for pink diamonds. Pink is a beautiful color and a smart investment but let’s dig a little deeper into the unique world of pink diamonds.

Pink diamonds are very rare. These diamonds are extracted mainly in the Argyle mine in Australia, the largest source of pink diamonds. Only a few are found each year which is one of the reasons why they’re so rare and expensive.

The very rich are investing huge fortunes in international auctions, offering large amounts of money to get a unique pink diamond. Pink diamonds are a good investment, they constantly increase in value but if you have a limited budget, and want to buy an engagement ring with a pink diamond, there are smaller diamonds with a more earthly price.

While I agree that different colors have had their trendy moments, pink will always be a beautiful, classy and a neutral color for a wedding. The millennial pink has had a huge following since Pantone named it 2015’s color of the year (blush pink, Rose Quartz) and it has had more of an impact in 2018 going into 2019. It’s been trending everywhere lately and who doesn’t look pretty in pink? I believe it will remain on top for its sophisticated, romantic and delicate hues.
